The spring equinox, named for a goddess mentioned exactly once.

Beltane

30 April – 1 May

Fire, cattle, and the start of the light half of the year.

Litha

Around 21 June

Midsummer, herb-gathering, and the year's longest light.

Lughnasadh

1 August

First harvest, assemblies, and games in honour of a foster-mother.

Mabon

Around 22 September

The autumn equinox, and a name borrowed from Welsh legend.
